Franco-British exchange around wood at a French high school – Honfleur

19th – 20th – 21st March 2014 - Nine young English carpenters and two of their teachers of Sussex Coast College Hastings were hosted in Honfleur (Lower-Normandy) by teachers and students of woods section during three days of professional and cultural exchange at a French high school called Albert-Sorel.

Ecobee Project

Several Project Partners from ECOfab2 are involved in the Ecobee Project. The Ecobee Project aims to further the development of eco-construction and energy efficiency in buildings in the channel area by pooling existing knowledge, tools and techniques to assist businesses in the construction and housing sectors and by sharing newly gained knowledge to support behavioural change among building users.

Ecofab forum 2013, a successful event !

The franco-english partners have largely participated to the 2013 forum “L’Eco-construction en pratique”, also attended by a wide public (more than 800 visitors!) ready to pitch in eco-construction. Workshops, conferences, information and trainings on eco-building and retrofitting have attracted a varied public.

ECOBEE PROJECT Green challenge

Within the ECOBEE Project, GIP-FCIP organizes an ECO-challenge to develop the awareness of participants over the eco-construction issue and fight against climate change through teamwork creation of an ideal eco-built project.
